SLB Pipe Solutions completed a pipelining job on at 10” sprinkler supply line at American Honda. They had multiple longitudinal cracks 15 feet under a new $4 million reinforced concrete delivery road that was just poured. They were losing approximately 200 gpm and had the pumps working almost non stop. The access to the pipe was inside the delivery bay of the American Honda plant that was an 8″ pipe with 3 – 90 degree bends and went for 25′ until it transitioned to 10″. The pipe cracks were 35′ from the transition in the 10″ supply line. We arrived on site at 5 am and began to pump the water from the line, once the line was dewatered we wet out the liner and rolled it into the Perma-Liner inverter. Due to the access pipe being 24″ off the floor running vertically, and the length of the pipe to be lined we had to use a scissor lift and 15 feet of delivery hose to fit the material into the inverter. The inversion went flawlessly and the customer has not had any more issues with the supply line.
