West of Chicago in Geneva, a Perma-Liner™ Certified Installer, Ben Franklin of Northern Illinois installed the longest transitional liner yet! Recommended by The City of Geneva, a local homeowner of Geneva’s Historic District called Ben Franklin of Northern Illinois when they needed a pipe repaired. This particular pipe lied under a brick paver driveway that lead to their historic Queen Anne style home built in 1893, referred to as the Chrichton House. With conditions taking place in the middle of winter and digging not being an option, the crew began work- first, to measure the liner. This problem pipe was 115 feet; transitioning from a 4” diameter cast iron pipe that exited from the basement of the Chrichton House to a 6” diameter clay pipe that reached the city main in the middle of the street. Once the job was complete and with the brick paver driveway and home still intact made for a happy historic homeowner! This record breaking project was a success thanks to Ben Franklin of Northern Illinois and Perma-Liner™ products! If you live in the Chicago area and would like more info call us anytime!
